Gamin SD Card GPS - Need Sirius?
Hello! Just bought a CLA 250 *without* the premium package (i.e. without a Sirius radio) but with the $600 Garmin GPS SD Card. My salesman incorrectly told me that the GPS would have traffic, but without a Sirius radio, it apparently doesn't. Is this true? Can I somehow get traffic on the Garmin GPS without a Sirius radio? Has anyone done this?
As an alternative, I've considered actually buying an MB aftermarket $250 Sirius satellite receiver on ebay and having it installed for $250, but the issue is that I don't know if the Sirius satellite receiver will "talk" to the Garmin SD Card if I get the Sirius traffic subscription. Anyone know? PLEASE HELP - I'M LOST WITHOUT TRAFFIC! Thx!!!
