Current reliability history of my CLA 45 AMG
So far I've put 13,000 miles on the car. Yes, I drive a lot. I've been switching over to my E55 more to ease up on the miles but so far, the CLA's been very well and hasn't caused me much trouble.
Mechanical issues- None, except for the turbo recall issue, which I wouldn't have known if I didn't bring it in for Service A.
Electrical issues- COMAND antenna for mbrace was not being responsive. Apparently it was just a software patch that needed to be put in.
Other than that, she's been running beautifully. How about everyone else here?
Manufactured: Oct '13

I have the same rattle you speak of but other than that no issues. I just past 10,000 miles and the majority of them with a ECU/TCU tune.

mines an A45 and I'm getting rattles on both left & right armrests located on the door panels since delivery day. Just dropped off the car for Service A, see if they can fix the noise, will keep things posted.

'14 CLA 45
Might be beneficial to include some more info?
Manufactured: May '14
Proper Break-in: Yes
Miles: 3,000
Only issues to date:
- rattles on both front doors, caused by the silver decorative trim below the arm rest
- headlights are aimed a bit low
- left exhaust pipe collects much more black carbon residue than right; I read on a BMW forum that today's technology only utilizes one side during low speeds/ rpm. Any input?

It's good their box is working. I'm still waiting for the local guys to crack the tune. I refuse to drop $3500 on just an ECU tune simply because one company has the market cornered on them, but I'm just not convinced/trusting enough of a piggyback for the time being. Not saying Rebellion's is bad. From what it looks like, it's pretty sweet. I guess it's just a preference thing.
Well, that and the down pipes being made seem to keep throwing CELs, so I might as well wait for a tune that can override that.
