Toasted a Porsche 911 Carrera 4S today. I've just had the Turbo repaired (yes the same repair as all the others) and the car was running pretty well.
From a standing start, yes he was trying and no it wasn't even close... I'm not sure my SL63 would have done any better.
It was a bit of an older model mid 2000's, I'm not sure he realized what I was driving, it can look like a bit of a sleeper.

yup I get that all the time.
high end vehicles trying to bully my baby AMG .
I usually leave them with a embarrassing look on their face.
one person kept saying no way how is that possible it's only a 30.000 car !
I said try again it's a AMG .
The guy became much more relieved. lol

I don't find the car that fast. I've lost on open road from a stop to Tesla and Audi S4 in last 2 weeks. There is a video in this section of a S550 tuned beating the 45 from a roll quite easily. I would say the 45 really needs a tune to make it perform the way guys say it does tuned.

I find my 45 a rocket ship.

If I lived in Florida I would have something else.
Rocket ship meaning it runs great.
