performance boost for a A170

Does anyone have any experience of chipping a A170 diesel?

I have moved from an Audi S4 to a A170 and am looking for some extra torque on the motorway.

I know i'll never get 250 bhp but every little helps!!!

Has anyone tried the Brabus or Carlsson chips?

This guy is in UK

griller: I think your question would be more responded too in the Preformance and Tuning section of this forum because, well that' what they do

I would shop around a little more than just Carlsson and Brabus. From what i hear Brabus loves money! :p

Thanks for your help - there is a company called superchips that are a lot cheaper, but the do chip mods for all makes and models.

A kinda like the idea of a company that at least specializes in MB.

You're right though.

Brabus is V. V. V. EXPENSIVE!!!!!

I just bought a brabus d1 chip online for my a170, but my car is a 2001, newer model, does anyone know if this will pose a problem?
What can happen if the wrong chip is installed?
