Disabling the seatbelt warning

OK, so I have a 2005 W169 A class diesel - and the seatbelt warning comes on at random, even with the seatbelt on.

So, how to disable it? Apparently it can be done with the Mercedes dealer diagnostic kit - any more details on that?

Also, is there something more than just a switch in the seatbelt buckle? What's the deal with the seat occupancy sensor? One or more of these is faulty I'm sure, but disabling the noise is the easy way to sort it out.

Of course, sorting out the sensor or wiring is the cheap way to fix it!

And please, no lectures about wearing seatbelts - we do - the chime comes on anyway - and it doesn't shut up!
