Aftermarket DVD or Navigation

I'm thinking about getting the KVT-910DVD and KNA-DV2100 for my 1999 Merecedes CLK430. It currently has a factory BOSE system with a cd changer. I was wondering what components I will need for everything to work? Do I need any extra components? I heard that the factory speakers may not work with this system is that true? Will I have to replace the factory speakers? Will the navigation system fit into a din?

Or I was thinking about getting the pioneer system? The AVIC-9DVD navigation system and AVX-P7300DVD In-Dash DVD Player/Display. I heard that the factory speakers may not work with this system also is that true? Will I have to replace the factory speakers? Will the navigation system fit into a din?

I have the Kenwood setup in my car with navigtation. I mounted the head unit in the bottom din so it would clear the ac controls when open. I have a center channel mounted in the top din, but you can put the NAV unit there. My NAV unit is mounted in the trunk. The only other options I added were the 5.1 DSP surround processor and a 10 disc changer.

I upgraded all the speakers with MBQuartz, and I am using external amps. I am sure the factory speakers will work fine.

Price of GPS

Do you mind if I ask what a setup like that would cost.

the set up will work. i have an alpine system but without the dvd-nav. the alpine system is about 2k. but the iva-c800 has a dedicated output for navigation. however, if you are really interested in buying the best dvdnav system out there, you should check out the newest pioneer system. my friend went to sema and told me about it. the newest one now features integrated traffic and news reports. so it calculates the best route w/ traffic in consideration. thats bad azz i think. if you are going to spend the cash anyways, why not get the most advanced.
