How to, without spending too much money, increase the power and torque AND reducing the fuel consumption at the same time?

The easiest mods you can do are intake, exhaust, pulleys. You can contact Ben @ evo-sport for info on any of this. These mods will run anywhere from 3-600 dollars each.

The intake is really easy to do though if you wanted to make your own, several guys on here have alreay done it. and I did the same thing for my ML-320.

Evosport pullies and headers will give you 10+hp each. Ask Ben@evosport.com for pricing. Exhaust and intake won't do too much, you won't feel the difference other than the sound. Aftermarket chip have been discussed on this board several times, and what we've found out is that they don't work well on our cars. My suggestion is, just get the evosport stuff, you'll like them, unless you want to spend 10k on the Kleemann supercharger. Good luck.
