Sprint Booster Installed
Installed the Sprint booster, took only 5 seconds to install.
With the combination of Exahust System, Custom Air Intake System, and Sprint Booster, I'm almost afraid of what my car will feel like when the PowerChip ECU mod gets intalled. or even a more scary though is what would the car feel like with a remote/rear turbo system installed.
With the combination of all those mods, one more thing that happened while driving on the highway last night with the AC on and 2 chicks in the ride, the car threw all 3 of us back in our seats when I punched it hard. Literally!!!

BASICALLY..the sprint booster eliminates the LAG or delay that has been induced into our newer Drive-By-Wire systems. We no longer have that instantaneous response like the old carbureted systems where you had a direct line from your gas pedal to the carburetor. Now we must go through a sensor that has to determine what position our gas pedal is currently at and relay that to the electronic car fuel system.

Any input from current and past owners would help.
Thanks.

I am using the SB on my 230K. I have used this device for more than 50,000 km and I still love it!
I did not find any appreciable difference in therms of fuel consumption.
I do suggest it.
Ciao,
Sam

Just ordered it. Could anyone provide instructions on install? Is it something I could do on my own?
Cant wait for all these mods to come together.

Other pictures here https://mbworld.org/forums/clk-class...ster-w208.html. Simply insert the SB between 1 and 2 as indicated in the picture.

I've had mine for 2yrs wouldn't go back to stock. Just straight throttle without any tricks a 430 can light up the tires in 1st with a just a touch of spin in 2nd. I'd be interested in performances of 320 Coupes against my porky 430 Cab!

FYI, Sprintboosters and chips don't mix. The signal will be super exaggerated. It'll end up being spastic. Unless you have a custom made ECU program to work with the Sprint booster.

I can easily spin my 20'z just think if I had on the 16-18s
Powerchip will open shop in Japan this summer so I will get a custom ECU tune.

I would disagree even though I don't have a SB but do have ECU tune. ADP still does its thing and the throttle responds according to how the car has been driven. If I'm on the highway and driving fast, when I get back to city driving the throttle is very sensitive until the ADP slows it all down. the throttle will not always be hyper sensitive with a SB. I hope to find out.

An electric signal amplifier (Sprint Booster) will turn your gas pedal into an on/off switch used in conjuction with an ECU tune unless its custom programmed to work in conjuction with an ESA (Sprint Booster). Parts that aren't designed to work together can make a car a POS
