cable is long enough
Hi guys..
So had my car to OBD tuner Karlstad, what a improvement, numbers was better as expected thus better end result for the OBD tuning, great!!!
With the booster WOOOW, but got tired wanted to be able to reach that booster butto, and today I can confirm the cable is actually long enough to reach the cabin, installed button right to the ignition yahooo. Will post some pics later
This model: http://www.sprintbooster.nu/
I ran the cable through the little hole just to the right of the brake caliber in the firewall is a small rubber plug "_Hassle to but back yes not much space"
ran the cable in under the dash, you must in drivers side up under the dash remove the cover and you can see the plug, best remove the plug first from engine compartnemt I use a thin plier, DONT DROP THE RUBBER PLUG I did lol but got it out.
Made a tiny hole fitted cable through is no problem it can reach all the way.
Ill post some pict later

Can you see a plug of any kind similar to this? Then no then it must go in engine room, but is still possible, I just ran the wire through the firewall and still got the switch inside my car on my w208
Not sure why the other w208 drivers was so sorry the word but lazy I know hehe..
but seriously look is not a problem no need to mount switch in engine room.. Better inside car I am happy I did it..

Thank you, I have been hearing the same thing from pretty much everybody. At this point I really feel like a kid near Christmas time, can't wait I have some other little ideas lined up as well but all will need to wait some time.

Ran the cable through the plug as described, but dropped plug and can't locate. Do you know part number? if not I will ask a dealer.

oooh nooo
I dont know it right now mate but when I get back from work tonight I will check WIS if I can find it for you,,
(I should also have warned you is part my fault really, I am sorry for that mate - Another thing just make tiny hole so the plug can just be pulled through then it stays tight, is a pain to get to yet yes, best way is from underneath inside of car not in engine bay,, when you have the speedbooster wire running throguh it you cant drop it anymore it will in the wire.. )
Will get back with part nr should be possible in WIS

Thanks for the assistance CLK 350, price for Sprint Booster listed by VIP is cheaper than the site and worth the small investment for faster accelerator response

Are there any further instructions that come with the module other than plug it inline and start the car? I bought the one from VIPclk320, but it's not working. I get no response from the pedal when it's connected. I tried various patterns of restarting the car, and even did the key/pedal reset procedure for trans and throttle adaptations.

Has anyone installed one in a 2000 model or older CLK? It fits the plugs, and the part number says it fits 2000-2009, but I know the electronics for engine management was updated in 2001-2002 models.

Sorry to hear that your experience wasn't noticeable, were you able to install the remote inside your car? This is the quickest way to test as you don't have to keep stopping to change the positions. The color scheme is discussed in the thread, to validate functionality you have to go through each stage. I've followed your previous posts so I know that you are well versed in your car and you should be able to tell if the device is working properly but I will detail the steps I took on my 2003 Cab as follows:
In zero position drive normally and stop car, change to green and press accelerator and you should feel a quicker response, stop car and change to red and you should feel a faster response.
