Climate control and sunroof problem

ok, so my climate control is busted i believe, the the bulbs were burnt out, replaced them and they came on for a while then just went out and never came back on checked em and replaced again and nothing came on, now it doesnt let me change anything except select the rear defrost and when that happens the other LEDs come on very dimmly on the unit itself, and i cant change anything, i tried unplugging it and nothing changed, and also did a whole car reset and no good..... Also My sunroof will not close all the way it gets like 2 cm from closing then stops, ive tried the holding open button for 20 seconds and doesnt change it, i dont know how to close it. any help on either of these issues? TIA!

For the sunroof there is a manual tool. It is a hex wrench in a Z shape, it should be part of the original tool kit. I think you have to remove the dome light cover to access the screw that turns manually to close it.

My sunroof had your problem, it would get right to the end, and then stop. and you could hear the electric motor stop as well, its not like it was trying to close it would get to the end and just stop. you could here the motor click and stop. My sunroof needed a little plastic like ramp that was missing, it would get to where the little "ramp" is supposed to be and stop, I had to have it taken to an indy, they found a wrecked MBZ and replaced the little ramp part and lubed the tracks and it has worked ever since.

The funny thing was tho, is if I messed with the sunroof enough it would eventually close w/o having that little ramp part, but it was so frustrating having to open and close it twenty times just for it to close.
