Hi , i've a CLK230 droptop, '98 Reg, v.low mileage.
Ever since I put the wheels on (3 years ago) I knew I should of changed somethin' extra like the suspension coils, because the new wheels were 2 inches bigger.
.. and now, after hitting a few pot holes, front driver-side wheel punctured once, and a few weeks later, the front Driver-side wheel is making a massive screeching noise AND the front driver side wheel is now sitting 1.5 inches lower than the passenger side.
The wheel makes a loud noise when I turn it a little bit, but when I turn it ALOT (more than 135 degrees) the noise disappears! However the noise is constantly there when I drive straight, its a loud screeching noise from the suspension parts.
What could be the problem here?
Would the Sport/Wet setting make a difference?
Also, more importantly what parts do I need to raise my car 1 or 2 inches?
Pictures to follow..
