Starts, stall, restarts and then runs fine?

99CLK 320 runs great but when it's shut off for a short time it stalls? Ex. Stop to get dry cleaning, shut car off, back in like three or four minutes and it starts, stalls then restarts and runs fine. Only does it when it's but recently run? Have tried search but no results, maybe I'm not describing it right. It's not only anoying it's embarrassing.

There really isn't much to go on here. A stab in the dark is the cramkshaft position sensor. Although it could just as easily be the camshaft sensor. Without info such as the codes, it's mainly guesswork. The cramkshaft position sensor is somewhat common. Although some of us have never had to replace ours.
