Be certain that the safety catch is properly engaged on the
passenger side ejector seat, and be advised that the solenoid likely needs to be replaced on the rear pop-up bullet proof shield. Other than that, mine has been problem free. Welcome.

Welcome. If you do a search you'll see this question has been asked and answered on a few occasions. That being said, you'll notice a trend to watch for motor-mount replacement, and transmission shifting issues.
I'm only a year into my w208 and so fart it's been good except replacing A/C compressor.

Tip: Your topic needs a better title than just your name.

If the car has been well kept, nothing expensive will be ready to "go out". All these cars need is normal maintenance. Here is a link to the maintenance schedule. Although, if you can't do the maintenance yourself, and you don't use an indy, a dealer will be pricy. The most expensive thing will be the cats (if they go out). Next will be the rear diff seals (if they leak). The power seat motors are $125 (part only, about 45 minutes for a DIY if you've never done it - no they don't all go out). The MAF may wear out. A real Bosch unit is inexpensive and easy to change. The O2 sensors are probably due. The plugs should have been changed twice by now. The trans fluid should be changed, but that's cheap (at my local dealer). If you can do the work yourself, this site lists several things.
Here’s a short list of CLK specific things to check. Here’s a longer list of things to inspect Here’s a list of things for the non-technical buyer I hope that helps. |
