For me it basically comes down to ensuring MB has approved it, they put it through lots of tests and have stringent requirements. Mobile 1 is my choice it has MB-Approval 229.3 and 229.5.
http://www.mobil1.com.au/products/product_0W40.aspx Both Mobile 1 0W-40 and 5W-50 are fine. I live on the edge of a desert so I use 5W-50 cause its got better viscosity at temp extreams. Just remember any oil you use must have MB-Approval 229.3 and 229.5. |
