Hi Bob.
I want to say don't be quick to pay top dollar these days. I think the one you're talking of may be worth the price but it may go for much less . There was a beautiful 2001 CLK430 with the full Lorinser package in Miami for $8800 although it was 108K miles, it sat for 7 months or so. I finally inquired about a lower price and they said it had just sold for $7200. Last edited by IBelieve; 07-04-2012 at 09:23 AM. |

I am inclined to offer about $10,000 to $11,000 for it if I like it. I guess I will know more around 1:30 today.
What does the full Lorinser package consist of? I already know that it's bumper covers, side skirts and exhaust. Anything else? Thanks Bob |

although the fenders done turn me on I think that is one of the better looking kits out there. Yeah, even though it has low mileage you can get it for less than $13K. A seller can try if they want but one really cant price in the cost of mods unless the buyer is willing to pay for them. If the car was wrecked do you think the insurance company would pay extra for the mods?

Well I went and gave a the car a good look over and drove it. It was in very nice condition, but no heated seats, the driver's side mirror needs to be replaced (out of focus and weird), driver's door closes different than passenger side (maybe a glass to weather strip issue), fog light lens cracked and original headlamps replaced with cheap after market HID lamps. Also the instrument display shows a lamp is out and JL aftermarket subwoofer in the trunk. I offered 10 grand and he came down to 11.5 grand. I will leave it to somebody else to buy. Real nice car, but price is too high for me. Also wheels and exhaust were Lorinser, but fenders were not.
Thanks for the input. Bob |
