Was is possible to get in to the diag mode? Did you see a FF when pressing the auto button?

If you did and didnt see any codes the system is prob low on gas with a leak somewhere. Go to yellow pages and look for auto ac specialist. They'll find and fix it properly.

My co-worker check and said the compressor is fine and he could feel Freon running through system just not strong enough. He thinks it's the expansion valve, which is what the second person who tested it said.

I never got a B code and the Recirc light didn't flash.

Your freon pressure is low on #7. Ideally, it should be somewhere around 11-15 at an ambient temperature around the mid-80sF. Be aware that this number will change as the outside temperature gets warmer or cooler. The compressor is still engaging, but there isn't enough gas to compress for proper cooling.

I just replaced my compressor last year because of a small leak around the shaft seal. Given the age of the W208, that's a likely place to check for leaks since it's the only moving part in the system. An AC diagnosis at any shop will be able to vacuum test your system to check for leaks and fill it with dye for visual detection, if any are found. Because the AC system is a closed loop filled with an invisible gas, it's nearly impossible to inspect without the correct tools and test equipment.

You're asking a question that hasn't been asked in this thread, and you're doing it with caps on. Caps on usually implies yelling. Please, don't yell. Just ask your question. In fault code mode, which is different than diagnostic mode, after the last fault code is displayed, if both AUTO switches are pressed simultaneously for more than 5 seconds, it may clear the code. "May" because if whatever broken component is still broken, the code will indicate the problem is still there - because it is. After the codes are cleared the display will change to "d and FF".

Check #7 when the car is not running. Start the car and check it again. If #7 still reads 7, the compressor isn't working. That doesn't mean the compressor is broken, it means it's not engaging. Several things can cause a compressor not to engage.

2001 CLK430 coupe
Hi guys.
AC problems here too. Readings taken at outdoor temp of 80F and in my garage after a drive which may cause 02 to be high. AC blows slightly cooled air maybe...

01 91
02 128
03 92
04 92
05 93
06 198
07 3
08 113
The compressor is engaging when when I hit the EC button. I checked the fault codes and none came up.
Car is a 2001 430 with about 70K miles.
Any input would be appreciated. Cheers.

Based on the Freon pressure, #7, your system is very low.

2002 CLK430 Convertible
Hi folks - like others have a ac issue on an '02 430 with current temps in the 90's. Pulled codes as follows:

01 - 102
02 - 104
03 - 116
04 - 114
05 - 107
06 - 194
07 - 12
08 - 125

I checked for fault codes and nothing showed up. Assistance is greatly appreciated

Steve
