Carbon Fiber Rear Diffuser
Has anyone purchased a carbon fiber rear diffuser from VIS Racing? I'm just curious on the fitments. I spoke with 2PRECISE and he said it fit perfect. His looks pretty damn sweet. The cost is $694.00. I would have to purchase an AMG bumper to make it work. Price is pretty steep.

I'd like to keep my stock bumper and have one made but have been unsuccessful in finding someone willing to put in the work.

This is my next mod I'm thinking of along with battery relocation, a 3" y-pipe, and quad AMG oval tips. Need to create some breathing room for the transplant and boost.
I remember seeing the diffuser around for $400.00 or so but cant remember where. I'll have to find the link.

no body has this in stock. and all the prices are above $550. if you call them they will tell you they have to check with VIS and then they will tell you its not available. I know the two owners at VIS they are long time friends and I called them regarding this 2 weeks ago and they don't have any. I have two on order from them which will be here in 3 weeks. if you are interested let me know. the price is $535.

Does anyone have pics of the diffuser installed? I'd be interested in seeing it on different cars and what exhaust routes people went. I assume most owners would track down an 05 clk55 exhaust or custom bend something.

W209 exhaust is completly different and will not work on the w209. plu there is no room for a canister on the passenger side. you will have to do a full reconstruction of the trunk like what i did to fit a second canister or route a pipe from behinde the rear bumper to the passenger side like most people do.

After that I'm going to do an e-cutout for my secondary cats then run a y-pipe from them to quad tips. I ordered AMG tips yesterday so I'm hoping to have everything done by next week.
Why did you dump your stock battery?

i don't but I have some new custom stuff in the works including a carbon fiber side skirt lip, rear bumper side lips and rear carbon fiber diffuser. something like the skirt lips for Ferraris and lambos. they will be available shortly. I will post pictures in the next two weeks and will include contact info to the company that made them for me based on my design. but these mods will be available for everyone I made them open for all w208 owners and they are designed to work with the oem w208 AMG rear bumper and side skirts without any modifications.

I'm in the process of having a CF trunk lip spoiler made. I've always loved the look of the maxton design spoiler and so that's where my inspiration for it originated. It's very similar but a little larger and more rounded near the ends. I'll post pics as soon as it's done in case it's something you'd be interested in as well.

yessssssss haha. cannot wait for pics to see how all of your hard work turned out. did you fab it yourself? all this talk of custom CF makes my want to buy the materials right now and give crafting a go. A few CF pieces and a set of those BBS CH-R wheels and i'll be satisfied for a while.
