Quad Tip True Dual Exhaust
Well everyone, this has been talked about plenty of times but finally, my quad exhaust is in the works. My plan is to have an electric cutout for my secondary cats so I can have them functional or not an any given time for emissions and noise purposes. After the cats, I will use a y-pipe to feed exhaust piping to the right side. First things first though, I have to relocate the battery.
Using an original idea from VIPCLK320/55, I'm in the process of relocating the battery about six inches upward. Today, in about a half hour, I cut an approximation of the hole so the exhaust will fit. Tomorrow will be full of sanding and welding.
Updates to come.

Hi,
Whats your rim and tire size? Love the look of it!
Like you, I plan to upgrade rear light to LED model. Cosmetic/function wise, is it a lot more "dramatic" than original?
Thanks,

Front wheel: 19x8.5 et32 w/ 245/35/19
Rear wheel: 19x9.5 et35 w/ 275/30/19
To be honest i'm not sure what you mean by dramatic... If you mean far from factory then no theyre not bad. You see cars with those chrome tail lights and such, but the lights for this car are very clean and keep the original style.

Nice! didn't know 275 will fit W208 without rub. Did you roll the fender?
I am in the process of making decision to upgrade to 18" (possibly Lorinser LM6 replica) with 225/40 tire, Will it perfect fit without rub? Does comfort deteriorate a lot? What about MPG? (sorry If i sound hijacking your thread).
The LED taillight definitely looks nice on W208 and it will be on my next project after upgrading the wheels.

Hats off man, this was really well done. I was skeptical about cutting into the spare tire well and moving the battery, but you maintained the factory function of everything. Good job.

The LM6 wheels look so good! It depends on offset and width if you want to know if those wheels will rub. It also depends heavily on your suspension work.
Tail lights are incredibly easy to do, they are just plug and play. Have fun with it!

Yes Ash, please continue!
We want to see more pics of your beast (although I shouldn't call it that as it is a beauty with power)!

Fantastic job! Really love the look.
Did you use a factory rear diffuser or aftermarket?

Your write ups are the best! They're all so unique. Sometimes they lack a little information but I've found that the lack of info makes me challenge myself. Due to your exhaust thread I had to teach myself to weld, which I would've never learned had I not seen your thread. So for that, I am thankful. Definitely keep your ideas and write ups coming, they've been of tremendous help to me

Thanks for the kind words! It's the factory AMG bumper with the valence section painted black for the diffuser look. I tried ordering the CF rear diffuser but they don't make them anymore . I can't find one anywhere. It's also not worth it to have one custom made as it would do little but add weight to my car.

Forgot to share these pics of the welding process....
I used polyurethane caulk to seal the tiny cracks instead of completing 120 or so inches of welding. Overall It fit perfectly even with the spare wheel.

This gotta be one of the most gorgeous W208 I have ever seen. very simple and elegant!
We have exactly same color...I will put your car as reference if I decided to mod mine.
Can you please post couple photos of the front section?
