A question about leg room
Hey guys, i've searched the board for what is bothering me, but i couldnt find anything to answer my question.
I like alot the styling of the clk w208, and i'am considering buying one, but... What bothers me, will i fit inside? I'am 6.5 / 6.6 ft and around 250 lbs. Are there any owners with the same or around that measurments like mine?
When i look at the pictures of the interior it looks like there is enough leg room becouse of the shape of the seats and the adjustments that are possible. And head room?
Thank you!

Way back when, Shaq couldn't fit in an SL and he wanted a Mercedes Cab, so he bought a CLK. It was a W209, and he had the seat rails modified, but yeah, he fit.
As to your issue, I've got a website with all the specs I could find for a W208. It has shoulder room, leg room, hip room, head room . . . . it's all there. The specs all came from the 2001 or 2002 factory press kit, so they are correct. Here is the link. You currently own a car. The specs for that car are probably posted somewhere. You can use the specs at my site to compare with your existing car and you'll know how comfortable you'll be.

Well, that gives me some hopes, as he is way taller than me! 7.1 according to wiki
Thank you for the website, this is what i got:
CLK Leg room 41.9 / mine 41.3
CLK Head room 36.9 / mine 38.1
CLK Shoulder room 52.8 / mine 54.7
Actualy its not so bad on paper and when u consider that is coupe and mine is sedan.

The w208 is plenty spacious. I'm 6'3" 225lbs and have plenty of room in my car. More than enough head room and a few inches for the seats to go back on the tracks.
The original owner of my car was 6'6" and had no issues fitting either.
The front seats are very spacious.... the rears are another story. You should have no issues.

I'm 6ft and there is plenty of movement left. One of the things I like about this coupe is that the rear seats can actually hold 2 adults for short distances, but maybe not if you have the front seats all the way back.
The only issue may be how low the car sits, it could be difficult getting out. Sometimes I kind of roll out and push up off the door sill with my left hand.
