car dies , engine dies,
Was running on freeway, and suddenly the motot dies, puleed off the emergency road, and called aaa, tech came told me crank engine tried 3x wont start, told me I have no gas, so he put in a gallon and off I go to the gas station, gauge fuel is at half full, so filled up my tank and 8 gals was pumped in gauge is at full point, run the car for 5 days, and when the needle came to 1/3 tank motor dies again, put gas in again 9+gals put in start driving again week later did the same thing, so now I keep the tank full every time, I dont know what the problem is,

I would say that you either have a clogged fuel filter (stops gas...when you sit, it dissolves clog and then allows more gas to pass through) or bad fuel pump...usually tell by measuring pressure at fuel rails at engine.
I had similar issues and it was the fuel pump.

If it was bad fuel pump why would I be able to drive the car with full tank and then dies when the tank is half full, if it was the pump then I would not even be able to drive the car

I'll just tell you what happened to me...same issues...going down highway...stalled going over 60mph...got it restarted...drove a few days...same...no start...tow to independent...said to change pump..I did and have not had a issue for 2 years.
Have you checked care for any bad codes...our model is notorious for bad CPS when hot engine.
Do a search on this forum for both CPS and fuel pump...

The sending unit is giving false reading or the gage is bad.
My Diesel W124 was notorious for this symptom. Always kept the tank full.
I read somewhere the tank is split and has an equalization system, VIP320 corrected this on an old post.

Thanks cindy will try to check if pump is bad, or cps, gator idont think the gauge is bad, cuz, when it read half tank and went dead, I filled the tank and gas put in was 8 gallons exactly half the tank that the gauge says, some says it has to do with immobilizer, cuz my car wont start, it would crank but wont start at half tank, I dont know what else to diagnose.

Gator, prior to this car dying, car got towed with the alarm on, in the towyard until battery died, when I got my car back they jumped it and was able to drive, this engine cutoff with half tank gas occurred 3 x after this, one mech said the alarm tripped the cutoff engine function and has not been reset by my key, dont know if its true but my car cranks but wont start, not unless I put gas way past half tank,
