How do I find out what options I have?

the internet.
on a serious note we need more info to help you. an abstract question relating to options means absolutely nothing if there's no detailed content. you've gotta help us to help you.
the internet means you have a universe of information at your fingertips so unless our universe is finite you have an infinite amount of options.

By inspection of your car.
There were not many factory option packages offered for the CLK.
See page 6 for the list at http://www.fitzhughmedia.com/MBF/W208.html .

Thanks for link. I was interested in the options my car has. Is there an option code sticker somewhere on the car? Or maybe it's by the VIN number....or?

Yes, it has what it has, but what did it have 13 years ago when it came from the factory? No paperwork came with the car. What if someone painted the car a different color or changed the interior color, or added/deleted an option. I'm sure none of this has been done, but how would I know?
I'm a long time Porsche owner and there is a sticker in the trunk that lists the option codes of what options the car came with. Maybe I'm just barking up the wrong tree here thinking Mercedes would also have something similiar.
It's not a big deal, I was just hoping the leather color "code" might be listed somewhere on the car. I'm guessing that it is 467 Lt Ash, but I'd like to be certain before I order some leather.

If someone changed the paint color it would be easy to tell, just pull up a carpet or something. As far as the interior trim, I believe W208 only came in 2 colors; light gray, and black (whatever the fancy names are). The special designo interior options only changed the color of the leather, and the seats have multi-colored panels. I suppose it's possible that someone swapped the entire interior from another car, but HIGHLY unlikely. As far as other options listed on the page, it should be easy to identify whether you have them or not. Most of the options would be difficult or very costly to add later, you would need a wrecked car to swap all the components over, otherwise I'm sure it would be prohibitively expensive to buy the parts from MB, unless you just really want rain-sensing wipers at any cost.
I'll put up for sale all the components for the built-in cell phone option, LOL!

Thanks Williams707, I did try that a few days ago. Although it is good info, it only gave a general description and nothing specific like the interior/extirior color, but it does give what colors were available (although it coflicts with a different site I looked at).

Unless your car was special ordered and made a stop at the performance studio, this page has every option available. If the car did make at stop at the performance studio, it could pretty much have whatever anyone was willing to pay for. Entering your VIN in the WIS (a modern WIS, 2012 or later - not an old one) is one way to list the options. The WIS is a great tool, so you may want to pick one up. As for colors, I have complete 2001 interior / exterior color charts in California, but I’m out of state for at least another 10 days. If you PM me I'll try to remember to update this thread when I'm back in SoCal.

I downloaded a copy of the 2006 WIS a few days ago, I'll try and get the newer version as you mentioned.
I have been browsing you site off and on for the past week, lots of great info. That's where I found the 467 Lt Ash leather code. I also like the 944 section since I also own a '90 S2 cab.

This is what I've been looking for. Here it is in the trunk, under the cover, next to the battery. Looks like it is called the data card. These are the options in the car. Not sure what the binary looking numbers on the right are for.
Here is also a link to a vin checker on a russian site that lists the options.
http://carinfo.kiev.ua/cars/vin/mercedes/commerc
The output has all the options on my data card except, 100,192,N68 and N95, but also lists a few that are not on my car. It also shows what the codes stands for.

If you enter your VIN in the MB World VIN decoder, does the decoder list the same info? I'd do it on mine, but I'm out of So Cal for another week or so.

The MB decoder is giving me general info and standard features, but not the options. The Russian one is giving me specific option codes with decriptions that match my data card except for what I mentioned above. I do like the MB decoder as it does give a lot more info, just not specific info.
