99' clk320 outside door handle not unlocking
A lot of times when I unlock the car using the remote, the drivers door handle will remain locked from the outside. The passenger door unlocks and the drivers door can be opened from the inside. Any ideas or exploded view diagrams that might help?

Having the same problem too with my 99' CLK230.....it happened after disconnecting the battery...then having problem to open the boot...then managed to reopen it using the battery jump-lead X-method from the internet...
Now can't open the boot using the inside button when the engine is running and the outside door handle problem...
Figuring out now.....

It appears that my door lock problem has something to do with the humidity level outside I live in central Florida and during the morning when there is dew outside and the humidity levels are higher this problem seems to happen most frequently. Once the day warms up and it is drier outside the problem does not appear as frequently.

1999 clk320 convertible
I am have the same issue but mines happen about 95% of the time. I live in alabama and it hot and humid here all the time. There has to be someone else that has had this issue and how to fix it. I have a clk320 1999 w208. If any one has any idea how to correct this please reach out.
