yeah so yesterday when i tried to get in my car to leave, i put my key in the ignition and it was not turning to start. My headlights were out as well, I couldn't lock or unlock the door with my key. I got it to turn maybe 1-2 times but whenever I tried to go all the way the car wouldn't start. I went and got a new battery and replaced the old one, but now when i put my key in the ignition it just doesn't turn at all. My headlights work, but everything else just doesn't work. I shut my doors, i don't hear the windows go up, my brake pad feels hard as hell when i try stepping on it, and i can't shift gears unless I press down on the little button by the "D" but yet that still doesn't help me start the car. I don't know whats causing it and its frustrating the hell out of me.. I tried using my spare key and it doesn't work as well.. if anyone knows the answer please help!

..sounds like the battery in the key is gone.
