REMOVING SIDE MIRROR for LED UPDATE
been looking around for an article or a video about removing the stock side mirror covers but cant find one specifically for the W208.
Work In Progress. Need to find out how to remove the side mirror covers.
Need to install these
any help would be appreciated!

Its easy. All you have to do i take off the tweeter speaker cover an take out the 3 screws that hold the mirror on. Ensure you support the mirror with one hand before you take off the last screw as it may drop to the floor an damage internals. You can then pop out the internals and do the swap. You will have to connect the "Courtesy Light" a regulated power supply. Ijust tapped into the general power feed to the turnsignal lights but I was only wiring in LED blinkers which I wanted to illuminate in coordination with turnsignal activation.

didnt see how he was able to remove the mirror in the video.
it seems he did not hove to remove the screws from inside the door.
was wondering if there are tabs that need to be relieved before pulling off the mirror?

For the courtesy lamp (puddle lamp) I'd take a couple things into consideration, you could tap into the existing puddle lamp on the bottom of the door... Or, and this is what I would probably want, is to tap into the overhead lamp so that they activate with the remote when you unlock, that would be a significant amount of time and effort, But worth it.... Otherwise there is the option of just tapping into the existing light on the bottom of the door and it will only illuminate when that door is open.
