Lowering question!

Hello! I am new to this forum, but i need a little help.

I have got a 1998 CLK 200 Sport, and i want to lower it.
I have just boughtt some new rims.

8.5x18 - 225/40/18
10x18 - 255/35/18

Offset around 35-37 i think

I have watched two sets of springs, one that lowers 30/30, and one that lowers 40/30.
Which one would look best? I heard that i had 21mm pads in front, and 5mm pads in the back.

What would look the best? And it also have to fit my rims so i don't rub..

I would be glad if someone could help me, and maybe show some pictures of their lowered CLK's and which springs and pads you run!
