Need a car for local travel at a second home. There is a 2002 CLK430 convertible with 52K miles for sale. Body and interior are immaculate. Could find nothing wrong with the top or its operation. Dealer service records show steady periodic service with nothing remarkable. Did note that they checked the heating/cooling system several times but further info is not available. Only fault found was that some of the buttons on the ac/heat selector are sticking.

I am looking for this car to provide 2-3 years of dependable service. Travel should be limited to local trips of no more than 30 miles round trip.

Any advice/info on the dependability of this model would be appreciated.
