hi all have been following your forums for years but have never needed to ask a question as my 320 cab has never given me any major issues.but now after dead battery wife tried to jump and got terminals wrong way.key wont turn and no remote locking.but have mileage up on dash when open door. am going to swap ecu/ezs/steering lock as maybe power spike.i have found a few sets from clk320 coupe with matching numbers but will the power hood still work or do i have to get exact number and from convertible donor car.thanks guys

not sure this answers your question directly... but before swapping out the ecu you may want to check all of your fuses... and also the dreaded fusible links (which are portions of a wire that are designed to blow out just like a fuse) i suspect that you may have blown a fusible link or two (i did that when installing a battery on my mercury cougar... my first car many many years ago... by putting the terminals on backwards)

thanks for advice.i have checked all fuses but not wiring.ill have a good look.
