I have a 2003 CLK-430 and need to find a side mirror. I'm just curious, is this a W208 or 209? I remember there was something about convertible models being the older style.

US version vs the rest of the world
The W209 cabriolet was introduced to the US with model year 2004 (mostly made in 2003). For the rest of the world, "model year 2003" CLKs were mostly W209s already.
An easy distinction is the function of the soft top: in the W208, you have to latch and unlatch the front by hand, whereas the W209's top is fully automatic.

Do any of you guys have experience replacing the weather stripping (the piece of rubber attached between front and back windows)? I'm wondering if an aftermarket has worked or if I just need to spend the money and get one from Mercedes.
