Congratulations! Your car is now appreciating.
I have a 2000 CLK430 Cabriolet that I've had for about 7 years now. I keep it in tip top shape (thanks to this forum). I check the NADA price with my mileage every couple of months and it has steadily depreciated throughout the last 7 years but noticed for the last year it had pretty much stayed the same which I thought was unusual, although I chalked it up to them discontinuing the model and it being a Mercedes convertible. There are a lot of collectors of Mercedes and this is a beautiful body style. Today I checked again and it had gone up $200 from when I last checked in January when I had less miles on it even. I believe it will keep climbing in value over the next years now. Keep watching! Love my CLK and don't plan on selling it anytime soon regardless!

Unfortunately, older MB have very high depreciation, because cost to maintain/repair very expensive.

Book values make me laugh. KBB values my 2000 CLK430 coupe at $3872 private party value in above average condition. Good luck prying it from my dead hands for that kind of money. I don't even know why I carry full insurance on it. I checked with my insurance and they do not sell "agreed value" insurance, I think I need to find someone that does.

Thanks for sharing. Imo this body is sure to be a valued classic, it's four eyes, sleek nose & profile, stout ***... etc, not to mention it's less electronics heavy/hydraulic suspension heavy, etc than newer Benzes. Having the choice of picking up more or less any car I wanted I still chose my CLK55 Cab (and then swapped in the 55k supercharged engine)... I wanted trouble free, fast driving, with timeless looks.. and to me that's what the 208 body offers.

Nice thing is they give you 1 year newer and 15000 miles less when they calculate the payment , but the best thing for me was they cover getting my MB towed to the next dealership no matter how far it is.
closest dealer is over 75 miles.
they even offer accident forgiveness so my insurance didn't even go up and I had only been with them like 2 years.

Comptronix good info, I've had Liberty over 10 years, haven't needed a claim, but have the replacement value coverage. Hopefully it will go as smooth as you indicated if needed.

it did twice actually rolled my first 320 clk when someone got into my lane and I went up a barrier wall , they paid out within a week both times now . it might a little more or not never checked because I don't mind paying a little more if the service is great.
