removing headliner in a vert
Has anyone removed the headliner completely in their convertible?
Reason I ask is that I am struggling getting it to attach with any gluing methods to the new rear window trim that I bought. I can't find a shop willing to sew the headliner to the plastic as the orig one either.
So I was thinking about just taking it out and leaving it out. I've owned convertibles without headliners before and it never bothered me. I am wondering though what it actually looks like under there.

Disintegration of the rear window surround has been a very common problem.
Where were you able to buy one? How much?
I've heard that many upholstery shops won't touch a MB roof and/or be very expensive at one that will.
Hopefully, one of the enclosed thumbnails will help you.
