W208 320 with W211 E500 engine swap

I currently own a W208 CLK320 and I found a E500 parts car for a steal and was wondering if it is possible, and if so what would I need in order to do a engine swap. I also might be able to get a 2004 S600 Bi-Turbo engine if anyone knows if that fits

If the e500 oil pan is the same as the w211 e55 or w209 clk55 pan (as I am confident it is) then you will have a headache on your hands. I am putting in the 55 from a 2003 clk and the pan is not the same. blackbenzz recently had the same issue with a 211 e55 engine. The solution is to make a hybrid oil pump from parts 113180001 and 1131802501 and then put the 430 oil pan on. I'm not familiar with the m112 but I seem to recall someone saying its the same pan.

The first pump I listed above can be found all day on ebay for like $50-$75. The second one is much much rarer and there are currently ZERO in the US or UK (I know, I have checked for months). I am awaiting one to be built in Germany and the ETA is sometime next month. I have been waiting since late February if I recall.

Then you get into the issue of yours being a 320 transmission. Again, I am not familiar with them as my car(s) are 430s but I am told there is an adapter that makes it possible.

As for the v12, in all the years I have been on here I have never seen someone do it. the V8s already eat up every inch of engine bay so I imagine that's an issue. Then the tuning and wiring...godspeed sir. Hope this helps.

2001 CLK55 AMG
Just to be completely honest. I would look for a W208 55AMG Engine, and just use that. The BiTurbo is going to be a mess, if it even fits, to get running. The E500 engine should work (aside a few things fitting) but is more of a pain than really worth.... If you're going to do it, I would wait on a 55 from a W208... They aren't that expensive used really.
