Rebuilding conv top hydraulic cylinders

I was able to rebuild the latch cylinders myself, but I can't find any diy or seals for that matter for the bow and lift cylinders. Does anyone know where I can purchase the seals themselves?

Did you find a seal for the latch cylinder?

latch cylinder seals can be had on ebay. They are the same as the latch cylinders on older SL's.

I am wondering if the bow and lift seals on our CLK's are welded closed or do they unscrew, or are they held together with a retaining clip? I can't find any good info, and I really don't want to risk working the top on my 430. It bareley closed last night and I can smell the hydraulic oil in the trunk.

Can anyone tell me how the cylinders themselves come apart? I am probably about a month away from being able to look at this myself.
