E=MC^2

I have a 99 w208, the other day I rolled the windw up when it hit the top I heard a loud pop. Something broke or became disconnected. The electrical and regulator still work. I pulled the door panel but I cannot see what connects the regulator to the window.. Nothing seems out of place... No parts inside the door.. I looked for videos but only find regulatr replacement stuff.. My regulator, switches ect..are all good. Anyone have pictures or info on my situation?
