ESP Switch Failure
Hello, Firstly I would like to thank all you posters, you have got me out a number of problems over the last 3 years with my CLK.
BUT...I now have a problem that I can't find any guidance on. I took my CLK in for its MOT, which it failed. The reason was because the ESP switch on the central console didn't work! It has never worked in the last 3 years of ownership. No other advisories or anything just this one switch that didn't work.
I have no warning lights, no error messages in the display.
I have replaced the switch and it isn't that.
I have a have a replacement brake pedal switch on order, but I don't think it is this, but for £6.00, worth a pop.
The only other recurring fault I have with the beast is every now and then the electric window switches fail, but a quick disconnect of the battery for 5 mins sorts that out.
Do you think these problems are related or any other advice greatly appreciated as the beast only has 118K miles on the clock and still goes well?
