Windows won't go up
I have a 2001 clk 430 car for parts. After removing some of the front end parts, the windows won't go up. I can hear the motor try to do something, but that's it. Now its stuck with the drivers side down all the way, and the passenger part way. It seems going down works, but not up.
Any ideas?

What did you remove? if you have not touched any of the mechanisms in the door then it could be a reset is just required.

Will the windows raise if you continue holding the "lock button" on the Key Fob? That's how I confirmed I had a bad window switch as opposed to a motor issue. The window would lower normally, but would not raise. But when I locked the car with the Fob and continued to hold onto the "Lock" button, the window then raised - confirming a good motor.
