w219 wheels spacers?

Hey,
S0 I came across a good set of w219 18" AMG's
25/28 offset, 8.5" front, 9.5" rear
5x112 66.6 center bore
and 14mmx1.50 lugs
245/18/40 in the front
not sure on the rear tires.

so the issues are offset mines 35 all the way around
what spacer? or is that possible
and the lugs mine is 12mm
can i use wobble lugs? or is there a conversion lug?
I've heard of them can't seem to find them.

and finally the front tire width ill need 235s

Can I solve my issue and and can anyone guide me in the right direction?

thanks

Ive heard that if the offset is lower than the original you can use spacers but if its more offset so in my case over 35mm offset it can't be fixed with spacers? is this true.

You can overcome a wheel offset that's above 35 with the use of spacers since adding the spacers will push the wheel out away from the hub farther. But there is nothing you can do when the offset number is below 35 since every mm below 35 means that's how much farther away from the hub the wheels will sick out. So in the case of the wheels you're considering the wheels will stick out (35-25=10mm) & (35-28=7mm) respectively. An offset of 30 is about as low as you can go.

Secondly, there is an outfit called Otis Engineering out of Los Angeles that carries 12mm lug bolts with the necessary R14 radius ball seat that's needed to mount rims with 14mm ball seats, like those you're considering. I don't think there is any other manufacturer that produces a 12mm threaded lug bolt with a R14 Radius Ball Seat. Those bolts run about $65-$90 / set depending on the length needed.

Sadly, the rims you're looking at are not a good candidate for a CLK. If the offsets were something like 47 front and 58 rear (Like many AMG rims are) then you could use those rims with spacers. But with an offset number below 30, you're pretty much out of options.

^^^ this is wrong. he's right about how spacers work but wrong about the wheels not fitting your car.

the wheels will fit without a spacer, i have +22 offset in the front. The rears may be tight though depending on how much camber you're running but if you care enough then you can adjust accordingly.

I run 18x8.5 et32 on the front if my 208. This is just about the limit with positive offset with a 8.5" wheel as the tire is very close to upper ball joint. The et25 wheels you are looking at will give you some more clearance at the ball joint, but will push the tire out a little more. I run a 245 tire on my wheels and it works fine, so I bet if you run a 235 it will work ok. You will have the tire sitting outside of the lower part of the fender as it curves back into the body. It makes for an aggressive look, but the tires do throw up more road debris.
I run 9.5"et30 on the rear with a 265 tire, I do sometimes get a small rub on the drivers side over bigger bumps or when there are people in the rear seat. The et28 wheels will fit, but may rub a little over bumps depending on tire size.

awesome thanks for the info. so I think I'm gonna hold off on these. and keep and eye out for some AMGs that are more applicable. I also plan on installing a cup kit too. finally if I can go non staggered that would be best for me I don't need to have the wide tire look. I'm thinking 235s all around. every once in a while I see individuals AMG wheels sold so If I'm patient i can probably find 4 front tires. although the oe wheels AMG replicas sold on Jegs are well priced I really like the mono block IV's

So to change gears a little here,

I dont want to be slammed Im getting the cup kit more for the sportier ride not so much to really lower the car a ton. with that in mind should I just order the tallest spring pad front and rear.

yes with that in mind ordering the tallest spring pad would be your best bet.

I just bought AMG 18s with 8.5F 9.5R et 23 and 25 offsets
i heard of someone with the 9.5 and offset 25 in the rear working (he was lowered 40mm tho)
..And you ( Cjackson13 ) have ET 22 in the front so i should be good then?
what is the offset for your rear wheels?
are you running the 8.5 / 9.5 staggered wheels set up?
did you have to roll the fenders or anything
?
my tires 235-40/18 and 265-35/18 im stoked just a little anxiety over the fitting. Its hard to get everyone to say theyre wheels sizes and include their offsets it seems..
so thanks for that was what ive been searching for now a few days
