Hi!
Does anyone have tips on making this fiberglass bumper made fit? The bodyshop guy said it totally doesn't fit, but i hope there are some tricks to get it right.
Thanks in advance

Judging by the lighting offsets, that looks like it was made for a W209 (2004+), not a W208 (1998-2003)

The dimensions are close, but not exact - as you seem to be experiencing.

I agree with Aussiesuede look at the placement of the fog lights, looks like a W209 replacement bumper.

W209 was my first thought too, but it has no gap between the lights. When trying to put up, I feel the intention in it, but its too wide like the front angle was too flat :/

Looks like a 208 to me.

Possibly a combination of things contributing to it not fitting.

Chances are the mould was never boxed properly or post cured before being put into production. This would allow the sides to move apart over time.

Combine that with being stored badly for years, (possibly under a lot of other moulds not being used anymore?) and you end up with a product that will no longer fit. If it ever did fit correctly in the first place.

It's also possible that your bumper has been released to soon from the mould without have had enough time to cure.

Then again, it may be as others have suggested, be a 209 bumper after all!

These are the cheap style replica bumpers from Poland. The fit sucks and a lot of custom work is required to make them fit. Probably more money than the bumper is worth.

Unfortunately you get what you pay for. I looked at one of these and was scared off by pictures and horror stores from other member on here.

I ended up spending the extra money and going with a VIS Racing bumper...fir is much better even though it's still not perfect.

I see your point

More Info:

That bumper looks to have been produced by a company called ST. Here is a link to a supplier with pics:

And here is a link to a poster here who considered getting that body kit and the infor that was provided to him:

Thank you for the info!

Meanwhile I'm getting closer
It has guite a bit of strain though. Had to insert the right side first, making the side vents upper inner lip under the holder plate (the first problem was that they were in each others way) fix by the screw, on the other side there was more room, so I only had to force the big screw in line with the hole of th holder plate. The other part is hat the lamp holder and upper part on the left side is bent downwards, but the holder plate forces it upwards when the screw is pulled. I'm planning to cut the upper lip on the sides to make room under the corner of the fender, and reglue an other in ways back corner of the bumper under the fender, so it doesn't have to be bent again after finishing
