OBD2 W208 CLK430 Problems
Recent repair we disconnected the battery, and removed all problems except the SRS light and the limit switches on the passenger door window which will go up and then come back down for 2 inches. I purchase a OTC Genisys for $2,200 which on the net look like the most complete unit, but it will not clear these problems.......
Does anyone have any suggestions on know which way I need to go to correct these problems.......

Out Of Control!!
Dear DA--return the OTC Genisys and go on line and purchase a DAS Xentry C4 kit and laptop for 750 and you will be able to clear the SBC faults, if the faults are not mechanical.
The convenience sync is a manual issue---follow the instructions!!
PS: Than find the bonehead that recommended that crappy diagnostic system and take him or her off you Christmas card list!!

With the door shut, press the up button for the window until the window is closed and hold the button for another 2 seconds after the window is shut. The $2,200 tool isn't required.

I was able to clear this problem on the drivers side, but the passenger side nothing will work. I don't know if it is a limit switch that is not identifying the window is in the up position, if it is just a code that needs to be cleared......
Thank you
Thank you

dalan21.......the position and direction window recognition is not by mechanical limit switches, but via Hall effect sensors located on the the motor shaft.
See enclosed thumbnails for more details.
