Wiring diagram wrong on N52 (Soft top) ?

I'm troubleshooting a top problem and I realized the WIS wiring
diagram and other drawings are wrong.

Top bow lock doesn't unlock. Windows roll down, roll bar works.
Checking the limit and lock switches to the connector on N52.
I'm getting readings that don't make sense and there are missing
pins where pins should be.
Started tracing the bow locked limit switch S84/16. WIS and other diagrams
I've found, show it on pin 29 of N52. On my car it is going to pin 28.
The luggage cover switch (S69/10) is going to pin 29.

Pins that are missing on the connector. They probably show up on different pins.
31 Soft top closed limit switch (S84/13s1)
33 Soft top opened limit switch (S84/13s2)
50 Soft top compartment "open" switch (S84/5)

While it is all the way down, my roll bar "retracted" switch (S83/5) shows
open. Not sure I trust the diagram now.

My WIS is 2006. Do updated versions show different pin assignments?
Has anyone else run into this?
My connector and wiring is factory and hasn't been messed with.

My N52 connector definitely does not match the WIS electrical diagram.
After 2 hours trying to get the rear seat out, I found the roll bar lower limit switch
S83/5. The WIS shows the rear view of the roll bar assembly so that you don't find anything too quickly. The limit switch is wired to pin 4 of N52, not pin 16.

Try entering your full VIN in your 2006 WIS.

MB made a number of changes to the power roof components, including the N52 controller, pump, some limit/position switches etc., between 1999 and 2003.

Most of the changes were implemented beginning in the 2001 model year, with VIN 070018 and later.

Note: You'll find that all of the the components that changed were issued new part numbers, as well.

I found the problem, operator error. The diagram I'm looking at is showing the N52 PLUG pinout, not the connector. The connector is going to be a mirror image of the plug. Pin 1 is going to be top right, not top left. I wouldn't feel so bad it, but I'm supposed to be an electronics technician. Apparently one that can't learn from past mistakes.

Question Where to get N52 connector (male and female)?

Anyone know where to get the connectors that are used on N52 (soft top controller)? Are they custom to MB or standard connectors?

Well, for $78 I bought a used N52 module with the matching cable harness connector. I'll take it all apart and will be able to build a test harness to let me inspect and feed in the various switch signals. Certainly much less expensive than the $2600 official MB test harness.
