Mercedes CLK 320 Cabriolet 2001
Roll Bar Motor
I am a new member with a 2001 CLK 320 cabriolet.
Top and roll bar do not work.
I hear a clicking noise coming from the roll bar motor when I push on the roll bar button on the dash. But the roll bar will not move from its midway position.
Trouble light shows power to two of the four wires of the roll bar motor when I push the roll bar button on the dash.
Does this mean I must replace or rebuild the roll bar motor?
Thanks.

I just thought there are other switches, sensors, relays etc. in the roll bar circuit that could I could get a wrong impression? (Applying current from a battery pack to the roll bar motor produces a click but the motor does not run.)
I see there is a roll bar motor on the net for this car for $70. Any problem removing mine and installing this one?
