2002 clk 430 cell phone
Once again I need the forums expertise. I have a 2002 clk 430. When I bought the car used in 2004 it had a cradle hooked up in the center console. I removed it and stupidly threw it away. I have a s6 Samsung cell phone and need advise on what I will need to get my Samsung to be able to use it through my cars system. What would be the lowest price way to go? I assume the cradle I removed and threw away was a v60 cradle that I have been reading about. All the wiring is still there. Pls help I am exhausted searching through the web.
Thx

Just a note, on any car that someday could potentially become a collector car, never ever toss parts like that away. Same with tire rims etc. The collector value is in the factory stock "rare" stuff, huge mistake tossing it.

There are a few options. You can get a Bluetooth puck but its not cheep most people buy a new head unit with it built in.
I sincerely doubt that a 430 is ever going to be a collector item. Maybe a 55 maybe but I doubt that too.

Not to sound rude but we did not start with all of this info. Do some google searching and see what you can fond. When/if you get stumped come back and ask about that.

ok so I call my Mercedes dealer and ask the parts department about what options I have with the in car phone hook up and they tell me the car is too old and there are no options. So basically I cant use my Mercedes installed car phone device. WTH. In todays technology there has to be a reasonably priced option that a layman like my self can do to use the my cell phone in my car. appreciate any input and help. thx

It’s no surprise a Mercedes-Benz dealer doesn’t carry anything. Think about it, the first Android phone was released six years after your car was made. There's no cable to make a modern smart phone talk to a 15 year old car that came with a cassette deck.

Marcus thank you for the clarification on a head unit was. I assume there are radios out there for a reasonable price that will do blue tooth for the phone and navigation. My hope is that I can find one that will work with the in car buttons sush as the steering wheel and speakers. Any idea if there would be one that I could unhook the mb radio and hook up the new radio without having to rewire everything? I am a novice at best. I do want to short out the electrical system. thx

There are multifunction steering wheel interfaces. You'll obviously need to choose a nav unit designed for one. There are also converters that will make whatever low power HU output you choose work with your BOSE amp as BOSE intended. I have no idea whether you personally can swap a head unit.
