Shout out to AZNOptics for bulbs

I have your city lights, and those match the Xenon bulbs I got from you way back when (I think I got D2S that fit the D2R slot from you). The fog lamps bulbs for my CLK430 are OE H1s (I think). I’m looking for something to replace those fog lamp bulbs. Something with good lighting that matches the hue of the city lights and the Xenons. Have you got anything for me? Winter is coming so the lights will be on more often - even in SoCal.

As long as I have your attention, what have you got for rear license plate bulbs? Anything to brighten up that dingy dime store OE look?

For your fogs, were you looking for HID or LED?

As for rear plates, you'll want a set of 36mm festoon LEDs. We actually have our first batch of new 36mm festoons with the new V5.2a CREE XBD chip.

LEDs are cool if they fit in the stock housings, don't blind oncoming traffic, and there's no issue with heat. Same for the HIDs. My current fogs have a yellowish hue that doesn't seem to go with the other lamps. You're the man for all things lit, if it were your car, what would you get?

The 36mm festoons for the rear sound like what I need. I'm in for those. Tell me about the fogs and lets get you paid.

You're not going to be blinding traffic with fogs as they're low and aimed down. Honestly, I'd go with HID conversion. HID fogs look sexy IMO.

Cool. Lets go with the HIDs and the Festoons. What part numbers should I order from you?

I know I'm doing something wrong here, but I can't see what. Those are the URLs, right? Maybe it'll be much clearer when I get the fogs adjusted. I know, the jokes are coming - if a programmer can't find a webpage, how does he think he can install a light bulb?

Check your url. First has a %20 and second has a space.

Copy the url txt. Not sure why the forums are injecting url encoding.

I found it here. For some reason, right clicking the text and selecting "go to" as well as cutting and pasting adds a %20 (HTML space bit/character).

Ok, fixed the URL. looks like when using the phone app, it was putting in the white space.

I agree, H.I.D. fogs looks sexy especially if they are projector fogs.

Thanks to AZNOptics, I'm happy now. So what was the fuss about? Lights that match. When I first got this car 13 years ago, my HIDs were white, while my city lights and fogs had a yellowish tinge. You can see the before photo in my avatar. It wasn't the look I wanted. Ditto for he license plate lamps. This was very obvious when our W204 was parked next to the 208. The 204 has white lights. Now the 208 has HIDs above and below with matching city lights.

Also, look at the second photo of the two license plate lamps. Obviously the tired looking bulb on the left was OE. The one on the right came from AZNOptics.

I was so happy with the results, I polished the head, city, and fog lamp lenses earlier today with a Sylvania kit. This was probably the last time they'll be refreshed. I have XPEL covers which I'll put next weekend. XPEL's stop the UV rays from causing the lamps to haze over.

If anyone wants to get rid of that tired OE look, hit up AZNOptics. The price is right and their lighting products are the best available.

AZN Optics,

to make this thread even better, may I ask this very specific question (since my eyes are about to bleed very soon yet I still haven't found a solid answer in 5 hours of reading):

What plug and play LED bulbs do you have on offer? What I mean by "plug and play" is a bulb that is error-, flicker-, hyperflash- free, and at least matches stock incandescent brightness (also brightness difference in the case of the 21/4W brake lights). I'm interested in front and rear turn signals and brake lights as these are the two applications that would benefit from the instant illumination.

I can fully spec out your vehicle for you. Just let me know the year and if you have OEM lighting package or not.

I'm not really interested in doing the all-white conversion like Marcus did, because in eastern Europe that's what every self-respecting dung-head driving a Civic or a Golf does. I don't want to be in that basket

It's a 2000 facelift car, has the factory xenon lights. What would a set of front indicators, rear indicators, and 21/4W brake lights cost me with shipping to Bulgaria (send me a personal message if you prefer)? Do you recommend I also get the second set of tail lights to avoid any difference in colour/brightness? And what's with the "red lens requires red led" comments? It makes sense to me, but if anyone can give a definitive answer, it's you! The damn ebay sellers will say just about anything to sell their crap.

Thanks for the effort!

Edit: I just saw this and if it's true for the 208, I'd be a happy camper.

Sorry, didn't see this message till now. Always better to shoot us PM or email us directly at aznoptics@gmail.com as forum threads get lost in the shuffle. Now I have specs for NA spec 208, not Euro spec so there could be differences, but I'll shoot you a PM with what I have listed.
