Any interest in this car?
Hey all. I hit a big dog on the freeway at 75mph the other day and it caused enough damage for the insurance company to total my CLK. I took the money and bought back the car for a great price. It still drives perfectly as always and is very clean. It drives as smooth at 120mph as it does at 40mph. I have always serviced it myself (I am a former Ford tech) and have all the records and receipts. It could be driven across the country if you wanted. All service and I mean all, is up to date and it is located in Colorado. It really needs nothing until the next service and has new tires also. The top works perfectly but the bow cylinder leaks slightly. Top Hydraulics has the cylinder for $190. I've had the car for over 8 years but I think I'll sell it as is and buy a newer E class coupe if someone offers a good enough price. Let me know if anyone would be interested. No shipping, you'd have to come get it. It will drive anywhere easily regardless of where you live. Any offers? I'm thinking somewhere about $1750 plus. You would have to wait for 3 or 4 weeks until the new title is issued and I receive it. Also, I've ordered a headlight and headlight wiring so that would be installed and it will be completely roadworthy. It will have to have a salvage title or a rebuilt from salvage title, depending on your state. Heck, the tires and wheels alone are worth $600 or so. Really a clean awesome running V8. That's why I've had it so long. Thanks!

It was about an 80 pound dog and at 75 mph, it basically exploded him. It was instant however, so I'm thankful for that. And I think I've got the car sold to a local person (my brother in law actually). It was and still is an awesome car, and is in perfect shape other than the accident damage which didn't hurt the operation at all. Thanks guys.

I'll know in a couple of weeks for sure Burgca! They're in Cancun until Christmas, so maybe he'll change his mind by the time he gets back. It drives perfectly and will go cross country easily. All serviced, new tires, everything. Talk to you then! You won't be sorry. It's been an awesome car, no problems, great engine, and all.
