Cool MB options to sell CLK cabrios

I see here MB are offering all sorts of no/low cost extras/specials to get people to carry on buying the old CLK cabrio. Designo single or bi-color etc.. I actually prefer the old model to the new one.

it's definitely a good time to buy up the CLK for cheap for those that like the older model..

W208 model, will always be stylish

I am of the opinion that I still like the 208 model having had a new one for nearly 3 years. I have never had a car that I liked so much (in 23 years of owning many). I like traditional looks, that's why I just bought a new old shape E as well. I love it, mine still looks as new as it did 3 years ago, only 25000 miles on the clock.

The old and new CLKs are different cars, why look upon them as being the same. I'm past throwing all my money away on cars, I have wasted half a million dollars on them in my life.

While shopping at Home Depot in S. Florida the other day, a truck driver approached me and asked how I liked my CLK55. He said he just ordered one. I said production stopped on the CLK55 Coupe in January.

He said that he ordered the CLK cabriolet and proceded to tell me about all the imaginable options that he chose, -- including backlit kickboards, below the doors!

I thought it strange that he would mention all of the options, perhaps that is what MB is thowing in as comps to sell the cab.

He also mentioned, that after May 25, no more custom orders for the CLK cab will be taken. So HURRY!
