Exaust plumbing (exhaust tubing)

Before I take everything apart... I have a question regarding the 3.2L V6 plumbing.

Can anybody tell me what the width of the tubing is after the header throught the cats out to the Y joint is? Is the tube width the same after the Y joint or is is it larger?

I've been thinking of replacing the whole thing once I get my grubby little hands on a set of headers.

Thanks!
