Eisenmann race exhaust for W209

anyone knows the price of eisenmann race performance exhaust for W209? i ordered 1, and they gave me $1000, because they said that it is totally new system (like SL 500). Is that true?

Question

Are your car 500 or 320 ?
If it's the 320 model, it's from the W203, while 500 got thicker exhaust than those V6.
W209/CLK500 w/single line is different than those dual line exhaust designed by R230/W211/W220/W215...

yup mine is 320, but i called eisenhaus and they said that it's totally new system for W209, and the price is also different with W203 exhaust. the system is like an SL, but only the left side.

RBTech is VERY throaty, the RBTech system i heard was louder than my Eisenmann Race Exhaust, and i consider my Eisenmann to be at the very top of the amount of noise that is reasonable for a Mercedes Benz, when i accelerate hard, my car sounds like a Corvette......

thx for the information. i heard my friend's RB Tech exhaust, but it sounds so deep. i think we can customize the sound we want. For performance, which one is better RBTech or Eisenmann race exhaust?

Yes, I ordered a handy made muffler here........
(1) Quiet + "est" is my wish, I enjoy killing w/o any sound
This's an Mercedes.
you know how loud are those WRX, Civic ,boy racers ?
(2) the inlet split into two S pipe inside the muffler, keep the back pressure and smooth the exhaust flow
$450 for this hand made muffler + $230 for the two cats.

Does anyone know the difference between the eisenmann race exhaust for a cabrio vs coupe. I found a good deal on one part number D7247.20831 I was told. After some research its turns out to be a carbio model and was told its not interchangeable. Any one have some insight on this?

Someone will chime in, recall some differences due to the reinforcements the cab has underneath. Btw, I think you've set a record on resurrecting an old thread....2002! Impressive...

Anyone have experience working under both a coupe and carbio w209? Why couldn't a carbio exhaust fit under a couple or can it?

I have the Eisenmann race installed, non cabrio... if you can get pics of the cabrio muffler, I'll take pics of mine and you can compare to see if the hanger spots are the same??
