Just recieved these CF inserts from Germany. I painted the emblem black and installed these behind it. Don't know how I feel about it yet. What do you guys think?

IMHO, yes, the emblem does look cheesy. Looks like a big hole in the trunk now.

lol, yea that's what I was thinking. I haven't fully installed it yet cuz I wasn't sure. The quality isn't that bad though, the pics don't do it justice. Will probably stick with normal black emblem.

Do you think it would look better with the chrome star?

I think one should never mod a car based on what other people think. If [b]you[/] like it, then do it. It's your car, not someone else's car. As such, you shouldn't let others influence your mod taste(s).

dont paint the emblem but insert that cf in . I did that for along time ago lol. I made it myself not ordering from germany or anything eheh.

it looks a bit better on andys car, probably because the cf isnt as dark

So far your mods have been clean and classy. You don't need to mod just for mods sake. You car looks really good. don't over do it.

agree with pretty much everyone. the black emblems you had were a mod and with your other black touches they looked right. eurotrash put it best, dont do a mod just to do it.

I think a chrome/silver star with the CF inserts would look good Wes, black star withe the CF is a bit much IMO. The black star on it's own looks better.

Did you mod it? or just plain? If I buy from them.. it will be my third time buying leds for my tail plates! LOL... but its from 3 different places...

They already have bult-in resistors, so they work just by putting them in. It was like a year and a hlaf ago I bought them so I'm not 100% sure on the place. I should of paid attention to exactly where I bought them from..lol..I will do some digging.

or u can just add some resistors to the ones u have on now pinoytm.. its a simple proccess.

For the license plate LED : I did added the resistor to mine but if u dont mind to spend a few bucks get the one built-in.

That is the problem.. when I bought my LED's it says that it has a built-in resistors... but it still throws some error and it flickers...
