lol, thanks. Oh, and thanks for the comment on the sig too
Thanks. Had them all repacked about 30 minutes after the pics. Going to put a few things on today then drop the car off Saturday night for a big chunk of installs.

Sure glad we weren't on a video call...
Update, got the grill, sprintbooster and pedals installed. Grill was a 5 minute job if that, sprintbooster was about 20 minutes but the pedals? Accelerator, no problem, park brake, just as easy - brake... f-me! I must have spent 20 minutes on that alone (yes, it includes swearing time) but in the end it's all good.

Tell me about it! I got the short end pushed on then struggled with the rest of it for what seemed like forever. I eventually got s hort flat blade screwdriver inbetween the pedal and cover and was able to stretch the rubber all around until I got to the top, that was just a plain nightmare.
Now, another update on theBS strut tower bars;
They are not bolt in.
They do not work by simply drilling a few holes.
All brackets need to be modified.
Rear bar needs to be shortened.
This is not a simple mod whatsoever.
I ripped the trunk apart to get working on the rear bar and quickly figured out that the bar itself is too long and the brackets do not work with the non-BS set up. I'm going to have to cut the ends off the bar to be able to fit it in the car, then weld on the ends after the correct lengths have been determined then hack the living ***** out of the brackets and re-weld them to work with the body we have.
As for the front, I believe that the length of the bar is going to be okay but the brackets are so off they are un-usable as a whole. They sit so high on the strut tower that if I were to close the hood they would rip through it. I already have an idea but will need to wait until I drop a strut to have a look at the underside of the tower.
So, what I will do for the 209 community is document set by step and take a ton of pics for those who want to follow in my footsteps. If I get all the R&D done then all you guys will need to do is follow some instructions, cut here, weld here, etc... It goes without saying that this will be the last mod that I do to ensure the front bar fits over top of the E55K airbox.
Front lip CF spoiler is next.

lol, the position your in while installing the pedal doesn't help either. Looks like you have some work ahead of you with those bars my friend. Are you going to be doing the cutting and welding yourself?

I'm going to talk to the exhast shop I using and see if they will let me use their welding equipment one weekend, so, if I can, yes I will do it all myself. Or, I may as well just go buy a welding machine this weekend if I have time.
