SERVICE RESET WHEN EXCEEDED
My wife's 2003 CLK320's Service B has been exceeded by nine days. She does not need any service due to the car not being driven. I've tried all reset procedures to no avail. Do we have to actually go to the dealer to get it reset?

Not true !!! Services indicator is based om mileages and times. That's why your is indiated by days (since you rarely drive it) not mileages. Go get it services.

Update - I didn't include this in my earlier post. My wife's battery was drained (more than once) and the car could not start - had to jump start it. Now I know if the car does not have power, the FSS can get out of whack, true? So, if that's the case, I shouldn't have a problem resetting, but I still do. Or does FSS has a memory where the info is stored to indicate last services performed?? BTW, I checked all components associated with Service "B" and everything checks out OK. So back to the original question - can I reset the FSS counter locally or do I take it to the dealer?

Found it, however it worked a little different on the wifes '07 clk350. Here's what worked:
1.) Key to #2 position, without turning the car on.
2.) Then go to the menu until you see the screen with the outside air temp.
3.) Scroll untill you see the service reminder.
4.) Hold the reset button to the left of your clock until you see the option to reset the service reminder.
5.) Release the reset button.
6.) Press the reset button for 3 seconds.
7.) Happy wife.
