This seems to be some sort of aftermarket unit, I personally would not feel comfortable installing something like that. There are allot better NAME brand Units out there that you could look at. What year is your car anyways ?

if you are going for an OEM look, try to nab one off ebay.
if you want an aftermarket look, go with alpine, pioneer, or kenwood all these have double dins

This is a chinese module which i assume many would use the same money asked for this unit to get a Kenwood or Pioneer.
Why do you need to install a command in your car? If you want to play DVDs, MP3s, etc. than don't bother doing that.. go for an aftermarket unit. Else if you want just for the OEM look, then the command would do u just fine (Command 2.0, Wire Harness, GPS Antenna) & ur ready to go.

using the units you suggest abandons existing system opps I dont wish to do that. I want a plug and play unit that keeps all functions intact
the link I posted states as I read it services that need the others you suggest do not as I know being I have had a few conversions with install tech here in Sarasota. The unit HL-8802GB I wanted to know from those who can translate the text in the link I was hoping could provide me with that answer |
